The front that moved through the area late yesterday has brought some cold temperatures this morning. Current temperatures below:
TODAY: Lots of sunshine with the high near 70, very dry air in place and with the westerly wind will increasing later this afternoon. This is leaving some wildfire concerns in our area so be aware of anything that might cause a spark as a fire can quickly spread.
TONIGHT: Wind speeds drop off with temperatures back in the 30s and low 40s.
TUESDAY: Another sunny and cool day with the high near 72.
EXTENDED: A quick warm up Wednesday nearing 80, then a strong front drops the highs to the 50s for the rest of the week. Possible freezing temperatures for Friday morning. Also, this front might bring a slight chance for showers Thursday. Long range models aren't in full agreement with this next system as of yet. One bringing us a good chance for rain while the other is keeping us drier.
Matt will have the latest updated forecast on this system tonight on the News at Nine.
