A few showers and storms are pushing into the area from the west. These will likely stay to our northern counties and only producing light rain with a few lightning strikes. Current Radar below:
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy until a weak front pushes through the area, then mostly clear. This front will also bring a stronger northerly wind 10-20mph. It will be chilly in the morning with the low near 49.
HOMECOMING FOR TECH: If you are going to be tailgating it will be chilly enough for a jacket. Kickoff at 11am and temperatures will be in the lower 60s with the northerly wind 10-15mph. Sunny sky with temperatures in the lower 70s by the end of the 4th Quarter. High near 73, calming wind changing to the southeast later in the evening.
SUNDAY: A quick warm up with the high near 81. Southwest/west wind will be breezy 12-22mph. Sunny sky with some clouds later in the day.
NEXT WEEK: Another front drops through the area later Sunday night. This will bring lows into the 30s and 40s to start Monday morning. Highs will drop to the lower 70s through Tuesday. Again another quick warm up Wednesday before another front pushes in the area later Thursday. Winds speeds will increase with this front with more cloud cover expected Friday. Temperatures look to plummet more with this front with the high near 56 Friday and the low near freezing.
