Midland-Odessa, TX -

A benefit concert in Midland will raise money for victims of the Midland-Odessa shootings.

The concert will be on Sunday, October 27th at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Midland on W. Louisiana Ave. It's being put on by businessman Barry Tidrow.

The concert is free but organizers are asking for donations. All proceeds will go to the victims and families of the Midland-Odessa shootings. It will feature Christian artist Unspoken and their Reason album tour

“This is a special night because we get to play the show. It’s a free show to benefit the victims of the Odessa/Midland shootings. Our hearts go out to them. We just want to come around them and support them. It’s going to be a meaningful night and it has a wonderful cause,” said Chad Mattson, lead singer of Unspoken.

The band's messages are perfect for the occasion, according to Tidrow. “God had a purpose for their music all along. It fits us all well in our life’s struggles but more so now as we try to put the pieces back together after this horrific tragedy. We’re praying that First Baptist Church in Midland is packed the night of the concert as we open our hearts and give to help the victims," said Tidrow.
