Posted: Updated:

At approximately 7:26 a.m., a 2003 Chevrolet pick-up crashed into a 2000 International New Deal school bus.

Just as children finished loading the bus, the pick-up struck it from behind after the driver, Brandon Lamar Mosley, failed to slow down. Both vehicles were damaged.

There were 11 children and one driver, Janet Lynn Burkhead, on the bus at the time of the crash.

Three children complained of minor injuries and Burkhead was transported to University Medical Center for possible injuries.

Mosley was transported to UMC with serious injuries.
