We broke record low temperatures on Friday and Saturday with our first freeze at 7:31a Saturday in Lubbock. Temperatures are much milder this morning with a partly cloudy sky.
TODAY: A few sprinkles cant be ruled out, but better chances for rain will stay south of our area. Partly to mostly cloudy and mild again with the high near 84.
TONIGHT: Low near 56, cloud cover continues across the area.
TUESDAY: A cold front pushes into the area leaving us with a range in temperatures. 60s and 70s for much of the area with 80s to our southern counties. This front will also clear the cloud cover later in the day, but again a few sprinkles can't be ruled out.
REST OF THE WEEK: The coldest day will be Wednesday with the high near 70. Low temperatures drop to the upper 30s and 40 that morning, but no freezing temperatures. Things will warm up back to the 80s by the end of the week with lots of sunshine. Next strong front looks to move through early next week.
Have a great Monday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
