Very cold start this morning with a breezy northerly wind. This is making it feel like we are in the 20s with some teens to our northwestern counties. Current temperatures below:
TODAY: Highs will be in the 50s with a sunny sky and a calming northeasterly wind.
TONIGHT: If you will be heading out for some High School Football take the jacket as temperatures will drop to the 40s by 8PM. Overnight a clear sky with a light southerly wind returns. Lows dropping back to the lower to mid 30s with some locations below freezing again.
WEEKEND: Lots of sunshine with a light breeze from the south will help temperatures warm. A nice afternoon Saturday with the high nearing 66, then upper 70s and 80s Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: An upper level disturbance may bring some showers in the area Monday, likely just more clouds. Rain chances aren't looking to good for most of us with better rain in central Texas. Temperatures stay nice with a little dip by mid week, but still in the 70s.
Have a great weekend! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
