Look Around Lubbock: Monarchs, milkweed & more

The Monarchs, milkweed and more discussion is at the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center on Saturday, October 12 at 10 a.m. The guest speaker is Kristin Belcher Sanchez, who raises monarchs. She will talk about the importance of milkweed and nectar plants to Monarch butterflies and what the community can do to help restore the population. 

The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum is a 93 acre open space and historical site located in K.N. Clapp Park. The Arboretum is a unique place to explore, discover, escape, and connect with Mother Nature.
