Temperatures are much colder to start of this work week.
TODAY: Don't forget the jacket as temperatures much of the day in the 50s and 60s, but may make it to 70 degrees for the high for a few hours. Lots of sunshine and a light wind returning to the southeast late in the afternoon.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold again with lows in the 40s and 50s.
TUESDAY: Warmer temperatures with highs climbing to the mid to upper 70s, some 80s south and east. Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning a quick moving disturbance may bring some showers with possible rumbles of thunder to the area. Not expecting much in coverage or precipitation from this.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will continue to climb in the 80s Wednesday and Thursday. But that is ahead of the next strong front that will push into our area later Thursday. This will bring a strong north wind and much colder air behind it. Lows likely in the 30s, but for now looks to be above freezing. Highs Friday and Saturday in the 60s... brrr!
Have a great Monday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
