UPDATED: Police identify body found in West Lubbock home

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Update from the Lubbock Police Department: 

The body found on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as 63-year-old Greg Louis Koehler.

The cause of Koehler’s death is under investigation by the Lubbock County Medical Examiner’s Office.

No additional details have been released. 


From the Lubbock Police Department: 

Lubbock Police Department received a check welfare call around 12:35 p.m. near 23rd and Milwaukee Ave.

LPD responded to the residence and discovered a body. EMS and Metro were called out.

The case is under investigation.
