LUBBOCK, Texas -

Support services in Odessa will get a sizable bump from Texas Roadhouse. The restaurant chain held its Permian Basin Strong Fundraiser Thursday, in memory of the seven victims killed.

"We just want to be part of whats going on in our town," Michael Smith with Texas Roadhouse said. "We all live here, our kids go to school here, we all pay the same taxes. We want- we want to be part of it. Not just be another chain restaurant that comes in and just breaks in the money from the Lubbock locals."

All the profits from more than 60 participating locations will go to the Odessa Community Foundation, a fund for the victims and their families. The restaurant chain's goal is to raise more than $100,000 in this fundraiser. It raised more than $100,000 for a similar fundraiser last month for El Paso victims.
