Another cool start this morning with possible light jacket needed.
TODAY: Hot again with the high nearing 90, partly cloudy with an isolated chance for a shower or storm mainly near the TX/NM border.
TONIGHT: After the sunset rain chances diminish with a partly cloudy sky, low near 66.
WEDNESDAY: Again hot with an isolated shower or storm possible later in the afternoon and evening hours. Much of the area partly cloud and dry, high near 92.
BETTER RAIN CHANCES: A low pressure system will push south along the west coast. This will bring better moisture into our area late in the week. Likely to have storms pushing from New Mexico into the Panhandle starting late Thursday, then a front stalls across the region bringing additional rain chances through Saturday. Where this front stalls will be a indicator on where the better rain will end up being. Highs will drop to the 80s with the cloud cover and rain chances.
Have a great Tuesday! 6 days until Autumn begins... Matt with the latest updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
