LUBBOCK, Texas -

A woman and three men have been indicted accused of stealing a Lubbock police officer's handgun from his unlocked car following a string of robberies.

On Aug. 1, police responded to reports of the stolen gun near 123rd and Peoria Ave. The officer told investigators that he did not lock his car and there were no signs of forced entry.

Police were able to obtain surveillance footage of the suspects from homeowners in the area.

Investigators found finger prints a block over that led them to Marcos Powell, 20. Detectives searched Powell's apartment and found a City of Lubbock credit card that belonged to the officer, and a sweatshirt that matched one of the subjects from the security camera video.

Powell told police he needed to call Anthony Lang, 20, to talk to police. Both Lang and Powell told police the person who had the gun went by the name 'Bug'. Investigators identified 'Bug' as Ryan Rios, 21.

Police were able to track Rios down at his apartment and found the stolen pistol in Rios' car, along with a box of ammunition used by Lubbock police.

Desiree McGraw, 22, is Rios' girlfriend. She was reportedly driving the three around in a white SUV during the burglaries. Police report more than 10 burglaries were committed in the area.

The four suspects have been charged with organized crime. They're all held on $4,000 bonds.
