TODAY: Another cloudy and muggy day with good surface moisture in place. Temperatures will be nice again with highs in the lower to mid 80s, some low 90s east. Likely to have some showers and storms develop once we get into the afternoon hours. Isolated to scattered storms will leave some areas with rain where others stay dry.
TONIGHT: Low near 67, slight chance for more rain but mainly just more cloud cover across the area.
WEDNESDAY: Pretty much a repeat with maybe a better chance for rain with a disturbance pushing across the area. Cloud cover staying in place to keep the highs down again.
EXTENDED: Across the northeastern half of the nation we have a strong upper level system that will pushing east next few days. This will push a cold front in our area helping to lift the moisture again into Friday. This will keep rain chances around through the rest of the week, although periods of staying dry likely. Ridge of high pressure to the southeastern U.S will be expanding back in our area into the weekend. This clears out the moisture and takes the rain chances away with hotter temperatures.
Have a great Tuesday! Matt with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
