Autumn is that you? It's me, Lubbock

No, it's not quite autumn yet, but it looks like we'll be enjoying some average temperatures for this time of year throughout all of next week. there are no upper 90s or 100s in this forecast. Scattered showers and thunderstorms have been slowly moving in from the west. Expect the chance of a few showers or thunderstorms tonight in Lubbock. Here's a look at the current radar:

TONIGHT: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, low of 69°, S wind 10-15mph.

MONDAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, high of 86°, S wind 10-15mph.

Big changes overall next week. Each day brings the chance for some rain, and all afternoons will only reach the 80s. In fact, if you see some rain early in the day, you may not even reach the 80s. As of right now, the best chance of rain will be during the first half of the week. Temperatures will drop from the mid 60s to the low 60s at night.
