Today like this weekend will be mostly sunny and hot. High nearing 93 with alight southeast wind 5-12mph. With this heat an isolated storm can't be ruled out to the south eastern half of the area.
TONIGHT: Mild temperatures to start off the morning in the 60s and low 70s with a clear sky.
EXTENDED: The ridge of high pressure across the southwestern US will be pushing east across our region. This will leave us with no major changes for the rest of the week with hot afternoons and sunshine.
HURRICANE DORIAN: Still a devastating category 5 storms with maximum sustain wind speeds of 165mph. Movement on this storm is pretty much stationary moving 1mph to the west across the Bahamas. The latest track from the National Hurricane Center continues a slow moving major hurricane but starts to track northwesterly. This will bring very strong wind speeds and heavy rain bands into Florida over the next few days. There is a chance it may stay east of the coastline and not make landfall until the end of the week in Carolina's.
Have a great Labor Day! Matt with the latest updated to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
