LUBBOCK, Texas -

updated Sunday afternoon - A UMC spokesman tells us the toddler has been released from the hospital.

posted Saturday evening - A 17-month-old wounded in the Odessa-Midland mass shooting is being treated at UMC in Lubbock.

A hospital spokesman confirmed the toddler is being treated here. No further information was given regarding the victim's status or identity.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the toddler. The page identifies her as Anderson Davis. The page has a message from Anderson's mom that the little girl has shrapnel in her right chest, which appears to be a superficial wound. And she has a hole through her bottom lip and her front teeth were knocked out.

The message from the mother continues: "She is alive. When others today are not alive. I ask you to continue praying for our hearts as we experience this, pray for complete healing of Anderson, pray for every other family in our same situation, or worse, today and pray for the shooters. Pray that whatever is causing them to do this will be defeated by God and they will stop shooting."

Other victims could be transported to Lubbock, but as of Saturday evening, this is the one patient being treated here. During a news conference outside a hospital in the Permian Basin, a spokesman said most victims were being treated locally there.

At least five people were dead after a gunman who hijacked a postal service vehicle in the Permian Basin shot more than 20 people, authorities said Saturday. The gunman was killed and three law enforcement officers were among the injured. Click here - for an updated story on the shooting.
