Lubbock-Cooper board sets tax rate seven cents lower

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Lubbock-Cooper ISD trustees set the property tax rate seven cents lower than last year. The board unanimously approved the rate of $1.47 per $100 valuation.

Board president Paul Ehlers thanked state lawmakers for changes made this legislative sessions. In a news release he called it an "opportunity to offer our deserving community members a tax break".
