Man reportedly planning mass shooting in Lubbock indicted

LUBBOCK, Texas -

A man reportedly planning a mass shooting in Lubbock has been indicted by the Federal Grand Jury.

Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Agents arrested William Patrick Williams, 19, last week for lying on a background check to buy a gun. 

Court records indicate he intended shoot up a hotel in Lubbock and then get police to kill him. 

Williams is charged with false material statement during the purchase of a firearm.
