Not as hot, but still hot - FOX34 Lubbock

Not as hot, but still hot

The map was populated with many temperatures above 100° again today, however things are looking to change. Even this morning temperatures dropped to the low 70s in Lubbock which is considerable cooler than the last week or so--albeit still above average. As we move into the rest of the week however, high temperatures will be in the mid 90s, and low temperatures will remain in the low 70s.

TONIGHT: Clear with a low of 72°, and NNE wind 10mph.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny with a high of 95°, with a late storm possible. NE wind 10-15 mph.

The chance for showers also improves this week. It looks like a few isolated showers are possible late in the day through much of the week. While rain chances are technically better, not everyone will see rain.
