It's another really hot day, with the temperature once again climbing above 100 in Lubbock. With enough humidity in place, a few thunderstorms have developed. Coverage is pretty spotty. These will slowly move east next few hours.
TONIGHT: A lingering, isolated shower is possible. Low near 75.
TOMORROW: Just about a repeat of today. High near 100, slim chance for a late-day storm. The wind will be a little bit stronger, SW/S 10-18mph.
NEXT FEW DAYS: We again have a slim chance for late-day storms Friday. We expect the high near 100 each afternoon through early next week. Then, finally, the upper-level ridge may break down by middle of next week. The computers are even advertising a better shot at rain. But this far out, I'm not too optimistic. We do at least have a drop in the temperature in our forecast.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
