Garza County woman arrested, accused of running puppy mill

We have a FOX34 Follow-Up on a woman in Post accused of running a puppy mill in July 2018.

Garza County Sheriff's Deputies caught up with Sheila Proctor, 63, during a traffic stop. She was arrested.

Investigators report there were 60 dogs being neglected and the conditions of the home were labeled as "unbearable" by Sheriff Terry Morgan. She is being charged with cruelty to animals. Proctor was booked into the Garza County Jail.

She could face up to a year in prison and a fine of up to $4,000, if convicted.
