12th Annual Tip-A-Cop benefits Special Olympics Texas

LUBBOCK, Texas -

As Special Olympics Texas finishes off its summer sports season, Lubbock's Texas Roadhouse and the Lubbock Police Department helped raise money for the state- wide organization.

Police officers helped serve guests for the Special Olympics annual Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser. Dozens of Texas Roadhouses across the state hosted the event with all of the proceeds benefiting the Special Olympics.  

Over the past 11 years Lubbock's Texas Roadhouse has raised more than $13,000 for Special Olypmics through Tip-A -Cop.
