3 in custody after chase ends near 60th and Indiana Ave.

LUBBOCK, Texas -

On Thursday afternoon, the Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center was involved in a pursuit resulting in three arrests. 

TAG Investigators attempted a traffic stop near 66th street and Ave. S. The car didn't stop and drove off from investigators. The car stopped near 60th street and Indiana Ave. and all three occupants were taken into custody. 

There were no reported injuries or damages caused during the chase. 

Investigators report Ashley Espenschied, 24, and James Rakley, 27, were arrested. A juvenile listed as a runaway from Oklahoma was taken to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center and turned over to CPS Investigators, according to TAG. 

Espenschied and Rackley are charged with evading in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
