The Water Department presents Watermelon Seed story time at Godeke Library from 10:30am – 11:00am today at 5034 Frankford. Enjoy a story and a craft. Space is limited and tickets are required.

2019 Summer Showcase Concert Series at Buddy Holly Center begins at 5:30pm.

July 19th 
Texas Tech Football presents Movie Night Friday with the viewing of Spiderman into the Spider Verse. FREE and Open to the public. Gates open at 5;00pm and movie begins at 7:00pm. All attendees are encouraged to utilize the C-1 parking lot West of Jones AT&T Stadium. Fans are allowed to bring blankets and bottled water into the stadium and onto the field.

July 15 – 19th 
The Moody Planetarium at the Texas Tech Museum presents Astro Day! Saturday July 20th. 

Astro Day celebrates the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing and will feature showings of 'Max Goes to the Moon' and 'Dawn of the Space Age', space demos from physics and astronomy students, 'Ask an Astronomer', and a moon rock from the Apollo 11 mission. 

50 cent Planetarium shows all day! 

The planetarium will also have special showings from July 15 – 19.

Yoga in the Plaza begins at 9:00am at the Buddy and Maria Elena Holly Plaza located at 1824 Crickets.

Summer Health Festival at Maggie Trejo Supercenter 3200 Amherst from 10:00am – 2:00pm. There will be indoor and outdoor activities, games and crafts for kids of all ages. Free vaccine to eligible children (Medicaid enrolled, CHIP enrolled or Children without insurance and recent high school graduates without insurance and need vaccines for college)
