Some relief is on the way, just not today

Some relief is on the way, just not today

It was over 100° on Thursday, and I would bet that it's safe to say that all of us will reach 100° again today, some higher. Lots of sunshine is expected today and into Saturday. Less hot on Sunday, with perhaps even the chance of a late storm.

As of this morning, there are no heat advisories across the area, aside from a few counties up north like Armstrong County, and into Randall County at Palo Duro.

TODAY: Hot, high temperature of 100°, mostly sunny and breezy with a S wind 15-20mph.

TONIGHT: Mild, low temperature of 75°, mostly clear and breezy with a S wind 15-20mph.

Sunday isn't the only day teasing us with an isolated storm. Late Monday and early Tuesday morning could provide us with some isolated showers. High temperatures next week will be in the 80s, which is actually a bit below average for this time of year. Lows will be in the 60s. For late July, I'll take that!
