Another mild morning with current temperatures below:
TODAY: Ridge of high pressure across much of the southern US will keep things toasty. High near 97, mostly sunny with a breeze from the south 10-20mph. A few storms are possible to our far western counties and in eastern New Mexico. The rest of us staying dry.
TONIGHT: Another mild mostly clear night with the low near 74.
EXTENDED: Hot with more locations will likely breaching the triple digits through Saturday. Lows will stay mild in the lower to mid 70s. Things will turn around for the better into next week with more clouds and a slight chance for storms. Also, we will get a break from this heat as a cold front is expected to push into our area.
Stay cool and drink lots of water today! Robert with the next updated forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
