THIS AFTERNOON: Once again, in the heating of the afternoon, a few storms have fired up. It looks like coverage will be greatest to the east, off of the Caprock. A few more storms will be possible rest of today into this evening. Here is current radar:
TONIGHT: Mild and mostly clear, low in the upper 60s.
NEXT FEW DAYS: It's going to get hotter tomorrow and Wednesday. High pressure aloft will settle over the region, leading to drier days. We still can't rule out an isolated storm, but the chance is lower than what we had over the weekend and today. Both afternoons should climb up around 100.
A weak disturbance may help a few storms develop Wednesday night. After that, the storm chance will stay pretty low. Low to mid 90s are expected Thursday and Friday, then probably a few degrees hotter for the weekend.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
