A few storms before the dry and hot week ahead

It's been a bit of an active weekend with thunderstorms yesterday, last night, and this afternoon. Expect some storms to continue into the evening, and a few lingering overnight. I don't think we'll see as much rain coverage tonight as we did last night.

Most of us will reach the 60s tonight, and climb back into the low 90s tomorrow. A stray storm is possible on Monday, but the best chance of rain looks to mostly remain in the eastern half of the viewing area.

TONIGHT: Low of 69°, SSE wind 5-10mph under partly cloudy skies. A lingering storm or two possible after midnight.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy with a stray storm possible. High of 94°, and SSW wind 5-10mph.

The rest of the week continues to look dry and hot, especially Tuesday and Wednesday. Low temperatures remain in the low 70s, which tells me that we'll remain a bit sticky.
