TODAY: Less cloud cover expected with more sunshine and warmer temperatures. High near 93, south/southeast wind 10-15mph. Later in the afternoon and evening some isolated storms can't be ruled out again, mainly to the western half of the area.
TONIGHT: Rain chances diminish with a partly cloudy sky, low near 70.
Independence Day: A lot of outdoor activities throughout the day. Mostly sunny afternoon with highs climbing to the mid 90s. If you are planning on being outdoors don't forget to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. We might have a "natures firework show" with a few isolated storms again into the evening.
EXTENDED: No major changes in the extended forecast with a slight chance for storms each day. Most of the area seems to stay dry with only a few locations receiving rain. Temperatures will stay in the 90s with the hottest day Friday with the high near 96.
Have a great Wednesday! Matt with the latest forecast updates tonight on the News at Nine.
