Semi truck crashes into Panhandle Popcorn warehouse, 2 injured

PLAINVIEW, Texas -

Two people are injured after a semi truck heading north on I-27 crashed into the Panhandle Popcorn warehouse in Plainview. 

DPS reports the truck had a blowout that caused it to cross the center median, across a ditch and the access road, before going through the Panhandle Popcorn parking lot. The semi struck a parked car, storage shed and a dumpster prior to crashing into the south side of the warehouse. 

The driver of the truck, 50-year-old Joeshannon Leroy White, was taken to Covenant Plainview with minor injuries. 

DPS reports a person inside the building suffered incapacitating injuries. 50-year-old Jill Marie Degon was taken to UMC in Lubbock via AeroCare.
