Texas Legacy Riders to lay wreath at Lubbock Veterans War Memorial

LUBBOCK, Texas -

(Press Release) 

The Texas Legacy Riders will stop in Lubbock on Wednesday, June 19, at 5:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 575 as part of its 2,000 mile Legacy Run that will, when completed, traverse much of the State of Texas.

On Thursday, June 20, The Legacy Riders will Lay a wreath at the Lubbock Area Veterans War Memorial located at 82nd Street and Nashville Ave.

The Memorial was dedicated on December 7, 2003 and honors men an women who have given the last full measure of devotion in service to their country and recalls the sacrifice of all who have served in war and peace.

The Texas Legacy Riders Program constitutes the local portion of the National Legacy Run that was established to provide Scholarships for the children of Veterans of-and-since the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
