Woman indicted for fatal hit-and-run near 27th and Ave. Q

LUBBOCK, Texas -

A driver has been indicted for a woman's death in a hit-and-run last month. 

Priscilla Martinez, 39, is accused of failing to stop and render aid killing Gloria Valdez, 52, and her dog. Investigators claim she hit Valdez crossing Ave. Q and then sped off. 

Martinez was already jailed on an unrelated charge. She's also been indicted for two counts of theft with two priors. 

She's held on a $135,000 bond.
