One of the hardest parts of sticking to a new diet is letting go of all your favorite foods that you know aren’t good for you. But there is a way to keep the flavor you love without all the calories.
In the modern grocery store, there are limitless substitutions and food swaps to help you eat what you like while still staying on track. Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to eat like a rabbit. With a quick look at a nutrition label, you’ll see that making positive changes isn’t as hard as you think. I’m going to run through some of my favorite diet staples that have kept my body in shape and taste buds happy.
Not all of these higher-calorie foods are completely unhealthy, many can actually fuel muscle growth in moderation. But if weight loss is your goal, there are plenty of lower calorie options out there. Here’s a cheat sheet for your next grocery trip.
