A few storms have developed northwest of Lubbock. But they've struggled to organize at this point. The overall pattern isn't conducive to widespread storm development, but at least a few are possible. Here is current radar:
Storms are moving from west to east. There is the possibility storms could get stronger and produce gusty wind.
TONIGHT: Low near 66, partly cloudy.
TOMORROW: Sunny and hot, high near 97. Wind W/SW 12-22mph. An isolated storm is possible well east of Lubbock.
NEXT FEW DAYS: The wind will shift out of the north Sunday, dropping the high to the upper 80s. A few storms are possible Sunday night then again Monday and Tuesday. Not a great chance any one of those days.
Next week will trend hotter by mid-week.
Have a great weekend. Robert will have a full forecast update posted here Saturday afternoon.
