Breedlove kicks off 25th anniversary with ceremonial ribbon cutting
LUBBOCK, Texas -
A Lubbock non-profit dedicated to innovative humanitarian relief celebrated 25 years of philanthropy.
Over the past quarter century Breedlove Foods Inc. has worked with more than 80 partners to fulfill its mission. It provides food to people stuck in disaster zones, including earthquakes, hurricanes and wildfires.
"But really it's the sustained, provision of food that goes all over the world. And that to me is, to be as unique as we are and to stay around, really the greatest achievement of the last 25 years," CEO Bill Miller said.
Since 1994, Breedlove has distributed more than two billion servings of food to communities in more than 70 countries.
