What a difference a day made over the weekend with the cold front moving through the area early Sunday morning. We have the clouds in place with cool current temperatures.
TODAY: Staying well below average with the high near 71, mostly cloudy and the wind will calm through the day changing more easterly.
TONIGHT: Low near 56, mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible moving in from New Mexico.
TUESDAY: Clouds will start to clear out some allowing more sunshine. Highs will warm to the lower to mid 80s. Then a cold front may bring some showers and storms in the area late in the night and early Wednesday.
EXTENDED: Highs will drop off some Wednesday, then much warmer to end the week into the weekend. There will be another chance for showers in storms Thursday with a disturbance moving across our area. The wind will stay lighter until Thursday and Friday where it will become breezy.

Covenant Children's now has a pediatric urgent care center in Lubbock. It is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, located at the corner of 82nd and Slide.
