LUBBOCK, Texas -

updated 9:49 a.m. - Texas Tech will face Michigan Saturday, game time yet to be announced. The Wolverines knocked off top-seeded UCLA Sunday night.

A couple months ago these two schools met. Tech defeated Michigan 63-44 in the Sweet Sixteen.

After five lead changes and a close series that needed a deciding game 3 in the Lubbock Super Regional, the Texas Tech Baseball team is headed to Omaha. Again.

It's the fourth trip in program history, all coming in the last six seasons. Previous appearances were in 2014, 2016 and last year.

Kurt Wilson's three-run homer (4th) gave the Red Raiders the lead back 8-6. Texas Tech scored four runs in the 8th to retake the lead and win 8-6 over Oklahoma State Sunday evening at Dan Law Field.

Dane Haveman came into the game in the 9th to bail the Red Raiders out of the inning after the pitching staff allowed the first two OSU runners on base. The lefty struck out Colin Simpson with a fastball inside to punch Texas Tech's ticket to Omaha.

The College World Series begins next weekend in Omaha. Listen to every game on Double T 97.3. Rob Verby will be traveling with the team with updates from the CWS.
