OSU forces a game three with 6-5 win over Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Oklahoma State Cowboys got on the board first in game two of the Lubbock super regional.

Colin Simpson hit an RBI single down the right field line for a 1-0 lead.

The Red Raiders responded in the third inning. Gabe Holt batted into a fielder's choice with runners on corners. Dru Baker decided to run for home and beat the throw home with his slide into the plate. The play tied the game up, 1-1.

In the fifth inning, with a runner on, Morrill hit a two-run homer into left field to extend OSU's lead by two runs.

Cam Warren responded in the sixth after he grounded out at second base, but Klein would round the bases to score, which made it a 3-2 game.

Dru Baker, then homered into left field to tie the game at 3-3. Baker capitalized even more on his day with an RBI to left field that allowed Cody Masters to run home for a 4-3 lead.

However, in the bottom of the eight inning, Colin Simpson hammered a two-run homer for the Cowboys to regain the lead going into the ninth.

To make matters more dramatic, Brian Klein hit a sac fly out to left field for Gabe Holt to tag up and use his speed to tie up the game.

However, in the bottom of the ninth, Taylor Floyd sent a pitch into the dirt that got away from Braxton Fulford and Lubbock native, Noah Sifrit ran home to end the game, with a 6-5 win.
