Another round of storms overnight, active pattern continues to start the week

Another round of showers and thunderstorms are expected late in the evening, and they're expected to continue overnight.

As of right now, it doesn't look like the storms will interfere with Texas Tech Baseball.

There's a risk for a strong storm or two across the Texas South Plains, as well as eastern New Mexico. This means that large hail and gusty winds are possible, but an isolated tornado can't ever be ruled out.

TONIGHT: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, a few of which may be strong. Low of 65°, SE wind 10mph.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, a few of which may be strong. High of 82°, S wind 5-15mph.

Less rain coverage is expected the first half of the week, as storms are forecast to be more isolated. Temperatures remain in the low 80s, until we approach the weekend, where the forecast is actually looking dry for the time being. Temperatures will approach the 90s as a result.
