All Saints High School's fourth graduating class earns $4.8 million in merit scholarships

After earning $4.8 million in merit scholarships, 22 seniors received their diplomas May 19 from All Saints Episcopal School and were accepted into 51 universities. It's the school’s fourth graduation at the new high school. 

Susannah Stuart Bumstead is the class valedictorian while Allen Conrad Small is the class salutatorian.

Valedictorian Susannah Stuart Bumstead’s cumulative grade point average is 4.86. She is the daughter of Matt and Krista Bumstead. Susannah has attended All Saints since 2005 when she was enrolled as a Pre-Kindergarten student.

While at All Saints, Susannah has been involved in National Honor Society, One Act Play, and Texas State Bar Mock Trial State Tournament where she was named Best Witness in 2017, International Thespian Society, All Saints Cross Country State qualifying team, and Student Body Vice President. She has received the Phi Beta Kappa Student Excellence Award; the All Saints Student Scholar Award and has been on the Headmaster Honor Roll for all four years of high school.

Susannah also received Provost's, Regents' and Faculty Scholar awards at each university to which she applied. Susannah has received the Proven Patriot Award for each year of her high school career and was most recently recognized with the All Saints 2019 Woman of Character award.

Outside of school, Susannah has also fulfilled important roles with the National Charity League and the Lakeridge United Methodist Church Youth Group.

Susannah will attend Baylor University where she will be enrolled in the Baylor University Scholar's Program and pursue a degree in the field of Psychology.

With a cumulative grade point average of 4.84, Allen Conrad Small is the 2019 Class Salutatorian. He is the son of Allen Small and Dr. Tracy Suit. Conrad began his All Saints career as a three-year-old Preschool student.

While in High School, Conrad has received the Phi Beta Kappa High School Academic Excellence Award, the Bausch and Lomb Excellence in Science award, numerous Proven Patriot awards, and numerous All Saints Student Scholar academic awards.

Conrad also has the great distinction of being named as a National Merit Commended Scholar by the College Board and he was most recently recognized with the 2019 All Saints Man of Character award.

He has chosen to attend Southern Methodist University where he was awarded numerous academic scholarships. Conrad has chosen to pursue a degree in the field of Engineering with an emphasis on Biomedical Engineering.
