Wind eases overnight, stormy Monday ahead

It'll remain a bit breezy into the evening hours. Expect the wind die down after midnight. Mostly clear skies stay with us overnight and into Sunday. Late Sunday night, and into Monday, presents the chance for some severe weather. It's still a couple days out, but right now forecasts indicate the most likely chance for severe weather will northeast of Lubbock, but we are still at risk here across the South Plains. Keep an eye open the next couple days as the forecast improves.

TONIGHT: Wind eases after midnight to 10-15mph out of the west. Clear skies expected with a low of 52°.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with a high of 87° and N wind 5-15mph.

It will be sunny and breezy again midweek, with returning storms by the weekend.
