LUBBOCK, Texas -

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a 17-year-old.

The victim was walking near 50th Street and Avenue Q around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, when she accepted a ride from the man. She says, once inside, he started touching her inappropriately, then sexually assaulted her.

She then fought him off, got out and ran home.

According to Lubbock Police, the perpetrator is Hispanic, probably in this 20s or early 30s, with light complexion. The composite sketch you see with this story was produced by a Texas Tech forensic sketch artist who helped with the investigation. It's an approximate likeness of the man.

The man was driving a newer black, four-door Lincoln car.

If you know who he is, call 806.741.1000. You don't have to give your name. You can also submit a tip online

This story was updated Saturday morning with a newer sketch provided by Lubbock Police.
