Proposition A - County Roads

8,735 early votes, 2,228 Election Day votes

Voters approved Proposition A, a nearly $100 million bond package for county road improvements. $38 million will go to expanding Woodrow Road to five lanes, mostly near Lubbock-Cooper. Supporters said passing the package would not increase any tax rates.

"Hopefully by the end of this summer, we will start seeing construction on some of these roads," Parrish said.
