LPD, Texas Anti-Gang center investigating shooting near 42nd and Utica

LUBBOCK, Texas -

At approximately 3:30 p.m., the Lubbock Police Department received a call of a shooting near 42nd street and Utica Ave. 

Officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg. The male was transported to the hospital with moderate to serious injuries.

LPD officers and Texas Anti-Gang Center investigators are on scene determining the cause of the shooting.

No arrests have been made at this time.
