Cold front has moved through most of the area bringing a breezy northeasterly wind.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy with some sunshine possible later in the afternoon. High temperatures will stay chilly with some locations not making it out of the 50s, high for Lubbock near 65. The wind will start to calm around lunch time.
Severe weather will continue down state with that cold front pushing the warm, moist air upwards. Large hail, flooding, and some tornadoes possible across parts of Texas this afternoon.
TONIGHT: Low near 53, mostly cloudy with a southeast wind returning. A disturbance will move across the area bring a chance for some showers and storms to start the morning.
FRIGHT: Staying cool with highs in the 60s and 70s. Rain chances will diminish later in the morning, then increase again in the afternoon and evening with another disturbance moving through.
EXTENDED: A chance for some showers and storms will continue with the next approaching storms system from the west. This system will bring some pacific moisture into the region interacting with a dry line into next week. Temperatures will warmer back to the 80s by Sunday.
