Noisy off the Caprock with another round of storms Monday night

It's been an active afternoon east of Lubbock with severe storms. A Severe Thunderstorm *WATCH* has been issued for areas of the South Plains. As the storms push farther off the Caprock, things will settle down for the Lubbock area. Patchy fog may build overnight and into the morning. Otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies Sunday with a stray storm possible east of Lubbock.

TONIGHT: Low near 52°, still a chance for some isolated showers and storms before the sunsets, then partly cloudy. There will also be a chance for fog to develop through the morning hours. East wind 10-15mph.

SUNDAY: High near 86°, mostly sunny with a stray storm possible east, east wind 5-15mph.

Late Monday and into early Tuesday could present a chance of more thunderstorms across the South Plains, potentially a few more strong ones. We'll watch the risk as we move closer.
