A stray storm possible with a warm weekend ahead

Expect some increasing clouds into the evening, but mostly cloudy skies aren't expected overnight. A stray storm is possible though tonight and tomorrow; most you will stay dry. Warmer temperatures follow this weekend, under mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s. Some places could squeak into the lower 90s.

TONIGHT: While some storms develop in New Mexico, we could see a stray storm meander its way across the Texas South Plains. Low temperatures of 58° with some breezy conditions. Expect south winds 15-20mph, with some gusts up to 30mph potentially.

SATURDAY: A stray storm, otherwise mostly sunny skies and a high of 88°. SSW wind 10-20mph, shifting toward the north later in the day.

Into next week, expect a chance of some isolated storms some days, with temperatures a little cooler overall.
