Cool start to this Thursday morning with a clear sky and light westerly wind.
TODAY: Cold front pushes through the area bringing a northerly wind 10-20mph. Temperatures will stay warmer than the last few days in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Sunny sky with some clouds expected as the front pushes through.
TONIGHT: Low near 50, showers and storms will develop in northern New Mexico later today. This will push clouds into the panhandle overnight with a few light sprinkles possible to our northwestern counties.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with the highs a little cooler near 77, southeast wind will be breezy 12-22mph.
WEEKEND: A nice mostly sunny weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will start to drop off a little to near average. A chance for showers and storms starting late Monday and continuing into Tuesday. Models still differ some on this next storm system on timing and how long rain chances last, but both are bring rain to the area.
