Showers with a few embedded storms pushing across the area from the southwest to the northeast. This is adding some additional rainfall totals from a tenth to over a third in some locations.
TODAY: On and off showers with a few embedded storms will continue with a mostly cloudy sky. The low pressure system that is bringing this chance for rain is located in northern Mexico and pushing east-southeast. This will keep the rain chances around today, but coverage will become scattered with better chances for the southern counties. Severe weather will be unlikely for our area but is expected further south. A cool afternoon with the high near 62, northeast wind 10-18mph. Don't forget a umbrella and a jacket before heading out.
TONIGHT: Low near 46, mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for additional showers and embedded storms.
WEDNESDAY: Still a slight chance for some isolated showers, mostly cloudy and cool again with the high near 66.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will climb to average to end this week with more sunshine. Then really warm this weekend with highs back to the upper 80s and low 90s, lows in the 50s and low 60s.
