Some storms Monday, rainy Tuesday, then warm and sunny days return

Expect the breeziness to continue overnight a bit. Monday, we'll see some increasing clouds and some isolated storms developing. Much of the South Plains is under a "slight" risk for severe weather, meaning we could see a strong storm or two, but nothing widespread.  Bobby will have the latest update Monday morning during Good Day Lubbock. Thereafter, some showers remain much of Tuesday, especially in the morning.

TONIGHT: Low in the upper 50s, clear, wind SSW 10-20mph.

MONDAY: Slightly cooler afternoon with increasing clouds. Late evening storms, some of which could be strong. High near 83. WSW wind  ENE 10-15mph.

7-day forecast

Once the rain passed, temperatures return to the 80s with mostly sunny skies.
